Our Experiment
We are testing which parachute will land the egg safely. The egg will be dropped from about 7 feet. The materials we will use for our parachute are fabric and wax paper. There are 3 different designs for the parachutes: circle, rectangle and square. We dropped them from a ladder outside onto the grass on two different dates. Each combination (wax paper and square) was dropped three times. We gave each trial a number depending on how cracked the egg was and then averaged out the ratings to rate the parachute combinations.
